The Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. participated in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics on Sunday, December 6, 2009. The event was held at the Hamburg Town Park on the shores of Lake Erie. Several members actually plunged for the benefit along with several hundred others at 12 noon. The Fire Company also assisted with traffic, EMS and Rescue units were on standby. |
